Self Supporting Aerial Fiber Optic cables GYTC8A
Product
Description
The fibers,250um, are positioned in a loose tube
made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with
a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire locates in the
center of core as a metallic strength member. The tubes are stranded around
the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. After an
Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) moisture battier is applied around the
cable core, this part of cable accompanied with the stranded wires as the
supporting part are completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath to figure 8 structure.
Also figure 8 cable GYTC8Y, GYTC8S are also available on request. This
type of cable is specially applied for self-supporting aerial installation.
Product Characteriistics
1.High tensile strength of stranded wires meet the
requirement of self-supporting and reduce the installation cast
2.High strength loose tube that is hydrolysis resistant
3.Special tube filling compound ensure a critical
protection of fiber
4.The following measures are taken to ensure the cable
watertight:
5.Steel wire used as the cen tral strength member
6.Loose tube filling compound
7.100% cable core filling
Excellent
mechanical and environmental performance
Good waterproof performance
Gel-filled Loose tube protect the fiber well
Standars:
The products
comply with relevant standards of YD/T,IEC and ITU.
